This week's featured article is Barrica, W1T 4NE, a tapas bar on Goodge Street in Fitzrovia. The joy of Barrica is that it's a proper tapas bar — you can go in just for a drink and a plate of ham, rather than being expected to sit down and eat a full meal.

Other good places to get tapas in London are Barrafina (Soho), El Faro (Isle of Dogs), and Tapas Brindisa (Borough Market; also now in Soho as Tierra Brindisa and in South Kensington as Casa Brindisa). Our full list is here — are we missing your favourite tapas place? If so, where is it and what does it do well?

You're missing Elche in Leytonstone High Road, it does quite good food (although it depends what you order), very good sangria. Was in the Good Food Guide until about 5 years ago. I've been there a few times in the evening (it's opposite the Bell pub which is handy!) The Sunday buffet was handy when I had a group of friends visiting - and they all enjoyed it.

...and now I'll have to go to Salt Yard again (and whatever it's sister place near Carnaby Street is called) so I can write proper reviews. Life is such hardship...

Dehesa is the other one. I suspect Ewan has a Salt Yard review in preparation :)

Or... was I supposed to write that one? I can't remember. I appear to have notes.

There's a Cuban place in the Angel I like (http://www.cubalibrelondon.co.uk/) that does a nice selection of tapas (http://www.cubalibrelondon.co.uk/menuandtapas.html#tapas).

What does it do well? Well, partly I like it because of the cocktails, and partly because it used to do Cuban cigars, and partly it's because 6 tapas for £12.95 isn't all that bad...but mostly I like it for the No.14 on the menu, Fish Tart. It's very yummy!

Oh, I must have walked past that place a hundred times! I'll go and check out the lunch deal some time, thanks.
